A nice place- well worth visiting. I caught this couple gazing at the view and whipped out my K100D just in time.

These are fantastic results. Pentax should market the K-x as a low-light camera, or at least it should feature strongly in the ads. Forget the K-7- this is the big one. Or am I getting carried away:

Yes, nice conversion. How did you do it?

You've convinced me paulyrichard. I'll make the trip soon. We need to record such activities (the boys and girls in blue permitting!).

I really like this picture. The positioning of the manikins is perfect. I must have a wander round Whitechapel (not far).

WRONG - London in not 0207 and 0208 but 020. The digits following the 020 can be anything from 1xxx xxxx through to 9xxx xxxx. You will only see 3, 7 and 8 numbers as those are the only ones so far allocated by OFCOM.
I too used to get annoyed with people who use 0207 or 0208. But there are more important things to worry about. Like why is the K-x $599 in the US, and £599 in the UK :

We all here have cameras, these are entry level DSLR's that I would assume take the place of "happy Snappy" cameras and mobile phone cameras, look at all the pretty colours that are available in those items! It could catch on, not for me though
I would hope you're being ironic. If the K-x is anything like the K-m, let alone an improvement, it will be an excellent camera, and a serious piece of kit.

I once painted a TV set (before anyone says it, no not the screen) to blend in with my room decor - didn't actually look too bad.
I once painted my b&w TV red, just so I could tell people I had a colour telly

As do I but I notice on a couple of large non branded forums I use that there is not one mention of the new K-x ... nor was there anything when the K-7 arrived.
But the average picture-taker doesn't visit forums, and is probably not even aware of specific ones.

So if the newcomer is the K-x then logically they must be teasing us into expecting soon a K-2?
I would suggest a K-y as a more suitable moniker for an entry-level camera
