I have shown this in my camera club and no-one has any idea what it is. I spotted it in the window of a store in Denmark Street, London. It's actually my favourite musical instrument, the dobro.

Are there any proper reviews anywhere? Been searching but no luck so far.

I love the magazine as it is. It's the only mag I get (and believe me I get a lot, all subjects) which I read cover to cover. It's good to read it on the train from work. I even file them in the official binder.

How's that for loyalty?

The only thing it lacks is a swivel screen. And if there's one thing I covet.....!

There's been a lot of talk about this :

It's said the problem could be caused by excessive mirror slap. Seems there are a lot of slappers about!

Just had a call from SRS to say the camera has been adjusted and is ready for collection.

Now that is impressive- only a week's turnaround.

If the camera works properly now, that will be a bonus!

I've just returned my K-x for repair (autofocus problems), so everything is crossed.

I used to have a Fuji P&S. The bad news was that it failed 4 times in the first year (4 different faults). The good news? Fuji repaired it and posted it back within the week each time.

Haven't retired (fully) yet. Christine at AP very kindly emailed me a jpeg of the article. I've had festival reviews published in magazines before, but only in return for tickets. This is the first time I've actually received a (modest) cheque for my endeavours.
