With the Ricoh acquisition of Pentax I think we might well see a "Pentax-K" module for the GXR system.

After all they released a Leica module for it.

Over the years I have been to the Vasa museum many times and know just how difficult it is to take decent photographs of the old warship. As you say It is very, very dark inside and there are always lots of tourists milling around, so a tripod is really out of the question.

Well done. Couple of nice photos from a very challenging environment.

Hope you enjoyed your trip here and post a few more shots of Stockholm.

To go back to the original poster. I would be surprised if we did not have a couple more budget DA-L primes before long. The DAL 35/2.4 has been well received. The idea of offering a modern version of the classic " wide / normal / tele " trio seems to make sound financial sense.

I voted yes anyway.

The A 70-210 is an excellent lens. One of the best Pentax zoom's from that era. (Along with the A 35-105). I bought mine new in the 1980's and only stopped using it regularly when I purchased the DA 55-300.

IMHO for the price it is being offered here you really cannot go wrong.

I'm sure it will sell very well in the Japanese market.
I can't help but feel labelling two lenses as "Toy" is a huge marketing mistake though.
I'm sceptical, but I hope it does well.

After a bit of a cleanout last weekend I found one of my mothers old compact cameras with a half used roll of Boots 200 ASA colour print film still in it. She passed away over 10 years ago, so I don't have much hope of recovering any images. Of course I have sent it off for processing all the same.

Today I received a Christmas card from a friend in the UK. It was posted in back December, so it has taken over three months to reach Stockholm. Now that's what I call snail mail !
