I quite liked the 10-24 - it is a very versatile lens with very reasonable IQ. Like all the wide zooms it is big.
The DA15 on the other hand is small, discreet and has great IQ and has an angle of view that I happen to love.
I loved my 24mm on film and the 15 is as close as it gets.
The now DA15 lives on my camera and comes out as part of a 3-4 lens kit (15,24,[50]+ [55-200/70-300]). The 10-24 has not been out since I got the DA15 it now lives in my secondary bag.
This is a shame really as it deserves better. I'll take it out again soon.

Upon leaving I caught a glimpse of a Radio Telescope.
I went back today,
and found this.......

K7 + Tammy 70-300mm at 300mm f11 125/s
On my way home I went back and had a go at my first night shot.

K7 + Tammy 24mm f2.5 and about 3 minutes.
I should have selected f11 and focused hyperfocally I know! But any other tips before I go back and try again?

It died, however when the wipers that transmit the zoom barrel position became entangled.
This meant that the zoom became very stiff and noisy to rotate, and also the lens could not transmit the focal length information.
I removed part of the cover to have a look inside and to see if it was worth trying to replace the wiper contacts - for me - it was not.
It was replaced with an FA28-70mm f4.0AL. I am now waiting for the rear elements of that to begin to show signs of separation.

Probably the 35AL, a flash gun and a combined USB keyboard/controller/audio interface to keep things to a minimum.

15, 24, 50, 90, 135mm primes + 70-300mm or 50-200mm
The 10-24, 18-55 and 28-70 don't get much of a look in anymore.
Next? 35mm f2.4(MMmmmm) or f2.8(Grrrrrrr)

Like the tighter crop but I liked the street light. Second shot has lost something with out it.
Maybe if I hadn't seen it.........
Both are really very good so it's being nit-picky really.
Can't wait for Thor to visit Barking now though! Very inspirational shots thanks.
