I took this HDR at sunset a few days ago, 3 exp @ 2 stops apart, gave Benbo an evening out!
Anyway, looking for C&C on this one, I quite like it, the dramatic sky and mood, but still unsure of this HDR appreciation thing if you know what I mean and looking for feedback positive or otherwise!

PS) Why is it that even though I resized to 800 pixels wide the full width of my image is not being shown?

How about a set of decayed teeth :
Black and yellow instead of black and white. Still mono.

thank you for all the great suggestions, I shall have to make the effort now!

However, the question did occur to me, can rainbows be done effectively in black and white?
Well now, there's a challenge!
I see no reason why not at all, with effective use of selection, hue and saturation, curves adjustment with a few Lilly tweeks here an' there.
I shall keep my shutter release at the ready for the next opportunity and 'ave a go'

Actually it was 11pm when I thought I would have a look at what had come in (Sun), to my surpise it said judging in progess and I had done nothing!
So, I just started adding my comments to them all and then after midnight awarded my winner and final overall comments.
So it seems to me that it is an automated Forum response to shutdown on the competition?

1, 6 & 7 are my fav shots, well done, I was there also 8 years ago and shot a lot on 35mm with my Z1, it is an awe inspiring place, tremendous atmosphere there for photography, I shall have to dig out my 35mm negs now!

Well, so far after 5 days of notifying the said local group about them flagrantly abusing my copyright, I have had no response from them.
My images are still there on their website, looks like the big stick is the next course of action.

It may also be worth considering that the newspaper in which your images first appeared may also have an objection to their publication being scanned and reproduced elsewhere without permission .

Or did the newspaper grant permission to the other body ? In that case you may also have an issue with the newspaper .
Well funny you should mention the newspaper! I have just fallen out with them also, after getting my first double page spread with them - a reportage re. restoration of our famous street kennels.
Said rag credited all my pics to a 'paid' reporter! After expressing my disgust, rag put in a tiny note next week not even apologising, but stated they were asked to correct it.
So I dont think I shall be contacting them, I think my editiorial days have come to an end, seems there is no appreciation, well, at least here!

Thank you all for such quick replies, I did suspect this was not quite 'on' to do such things.
I shall inform them:

a) they should have asked my permission, breach of copyright.
b) please remove them as I do not accept low quality copies of my pictures on any given website.
c) I can supply them with quality copies for them to use at a very reasonable price, otherwise please remove henceforth.

If they dont remove them, then I shall get out the big stick!
