My other half is off to Vancouver shortly and I would like to try and get a better deal on a couple of things from over there if possible.

Can you suggest the best Photographic store to go to in VANCOUVER for Pentax & Sigma gear please, it will make it easier for me to check out prices before he goes and he will know where to head for.

Gallery Proper or Main Gallery as I call it, was I must admit a bit of a novelty at first for me.

I quite enjoyed putting up some of my better shots and seeing them in one place, however, the novelty soon wore off when I noticed that sometimes people commented on them, but I had to trail in and around to see when this was done, as I was not being notified automatically.

After all it would be rude not when someone goes to the trouble of leaving a comment!

I now find it is not so personally attractive in that most of the entries are from members who do not parcipate in our forum and I find that a bit annoymous and cold.
Originally this forum was the opposite of that feeling, IMHO a club or a forum is only as good as its members.

I only use the PROPER Gallery occassionally to hunt for latest mono work to be had, which is usually Pete Elgars! Nice stag BTW Pete.

And now it is turning into EBAY

PS) sorry if I sound a bit whiny, but I did prefer it all the way it was before, can't please all of the people all of the time I suppose.

True, but have been thinking being able to use it off the camera wd be cool for subtle lighting for interior shots, might kick myself for not spending the extra! What is HSS please?
