I have just discovered a local group have scanned several of my images out of a local newspaper without my permission and put them on their website, they did credit them with my name.

Is this legal and what are my options to correct the matter if if not?
Any ideas gratefully received.

Thanks for all your advice, the clock is ticking and I have to make up my mind shortly.

I have been checking PC Advisor and like you say AVG gets a good rating as does ESET also MS Windows One Care Live looks good too.

Which order do I do it in?

Download my new choice of AV SW then destroy Norton, as I can see if I do it the other way around I am going to be wide open?!

Matt, the only reason I mentioned my up an coming website was because if and when it has a shop on it I was worried about purchasing protection.

Lilly,

Oh So I see NAV is not very popular amongst anyone here so far!
Thanks for recommendations.

I really want a bit more than basic protection as I am about to launch my website soon.
As I have Norton on already, when I come to perhaps choose another competitor, wont there be a conflict?
I would hate to have problems just now!

I am about to renew my Norton 2007 IS, and want to upgrade to 360, has anyone noticed that if you have an account with Norton as I do, by logging into your account you can get 40% discount on an upgrade which will cost me $59.99 dollars.
However to upgrade & purchase Norton 360 through the UK process it seems it will cost me £59.99 pounds!

Just wondering if there is a snag?

Yes Pete, what brought it home to me was a friend of mine recently showed me one of these he just bought, very small, robust and now very inexpensive.:

Further yet to this discussion, I have still not come to a conclusion, but I am getting there!
The above link may be of interest to some.
I think I am going to buy another external HD, at the moment I have my images stored on my 200gb PC HD, plus a back-up each week on extra internal 200gb HD.
I think I am going to invest in another HD to store in safe place and have double back ups and not go the route of DVDs at all.

I had to share this, I collect angels and after snapping this one last month after spotting the delicate cobwebs, I thought today I would develop it.
Well, I hooted with laughter when I zoomed in to top of angels head thinking I need to clone that leaf out and discovered matey posing for his pic!
Any ideas of species?
