Quite a daunting subject at first, but once you start thinking about it there are hundreds of proverbs to choose from, so hopefully we will have a good selection of entries this week.

And for us Bl**dy foreigners we just have to come up, with something in our native language and translate that to the proper English proverb??
That exercise might be tougher as the actual picture taking.

You could always challenge the English speakers with a Dutch (or Danish) proverb! Give Lilly something to think about

Aesop is translated into many languages, for those who don't speak classical Greek.

Actually, I have found that a great many sayings in English have exact counterparts in Polish and Czech, and no doubt in most other European languages.

So being a Nederlander is no excuse!

To my surprise i see a message:

Like Martin, I logged on to do the same.

How would the system know that Lilly is doing the judging :

I am sure that Lilly has not altered the closing time

It's obviously been programmed to stop entries once judging begins - having made the false assumption that judging will not commence until after the cut-off time.
