I took a picture of a rainbow yesterday. I was sitting in my office, and it had been raining hard. I looked out of the window, and the sun had just come out. I rushed for the camera, and although I caught it Ok, the view was just looking down the street, so no particular composition of note.
However, the question did occur to me, can rainbows be done effectively in black and white?

I see no reason why not at all, with effective use of selection, hue and saturation, curves adjustment with a few Lilly tweeks here an' there.
I shall keep my shutter release at the ready for the next opportunity and 'ave a go'

By the way, the problem with the finish time of the competition has been corrected, so this one should finish on schedule at Midnight on Sunday.

well Lilly a well shot pic of some liquorice allsorts would suit my taste in sweets, good for monochrome too.
