Many thanks Roy. Even without a fisheye lens I imagine that rock and the area in general are great places for photography. I'll get there sometime soon.

I've had 2 cable switches both of which packed up after a while - one was by Pentax, the other a compatible. Maybe I was a bit rough with them!!

To avoid the problem of a wire that can be danmaged I am thinking of getting a remote. I assume many of you use a remote - what is your experience with one and are they effective?

Any advice on this would be welcome.:

Cheers

Lens hood and an Inov8 battery arrived on time and in fact quicker than I expected - thanks to Chris and the staff at SRS for maintaining their first class service.

Hi Anne
I upgraded from the K10D and it's really been worth it - still working my way through some of the extra features!! There's a huge instruction manual!!

I love it.

Cheers

Well - I've just got Windows 7 and there is reference to snipping - had no idea what it did but I'll have a look now - I assume it's the same as in Vista?

I was there too today - and I found a couple of things I didn't know I wanted!!!

One was a Lowepro Camera bag and the other was a ball and socket head for my tripod! Also got a Lowepro goodie bag with quite a few neat items in it.

Plenty of people there today but not too crowded and only took about 10 mins to get in. Took my camera for the first time and got some shots of the models at 3 different stands. Very enjoyable.

All in all a good day out for me.

Cheers....John

I too prefer the magazine as it is. For me it would be a sad day if we could only use the magazine 'on line'.

How could I manage if I wanted to read it in bed!!!!

Perhaps we could have both to cater for all interests?

Thanks Chris - as you know I have ordered one from you.

Been after one for ages. Lost the original in the wilds of Glencoe last February (2009)!
