Have had a look - seems interesting but not sure what to download and whether it will work. I have windows 7, 64 bit. Does anyone know which one I should download - if any!!

Currently using DNG but would like to go back to PEF.

Cheers John

Superb set of photos. What ISO did you use? How far did you crop these photos? They are very sharp if you cropped severely.

I too like the first Prince shot as well as the one of Lou Reed.

I used to use PEF but my new computer has Win 7, 64 bit installed and as yet there is not a codec for this - unless you pay for a special program. So I have recently started using DNG where there is a free codec for Win 7, 64 bit and I now have the facility of using thumbnails etc. to quickly view DNG photos.

Yes - I have the same query as Andy. If you were very close did you get the 'models' permission to photograph them. That apart - a great set of photos/street photography.

My favourites are #9 and #17.

An amazing collection - do they all get used??

Which begs the question - what was the camera/lens you used to take the photo???

I've used SRS for my K7 and for a Sigma 100-400. Excellent service - considering a K5 and SRS will be the supplier if I go ahead and buy one.

Lovely shots - I too like the one with the fish. Agree about the brightening.

Like Smeggy I too would love to go back to Dubai. I went there about 10 years ago with a film SLR - to go back with my K7 or possibly a K5 and perhaps a monopod would be great - whether I actually make is debatable. I would make more desert visits - especially at sunset and also capture the amazing buildings with more imagination than when I last visited.

Thanks Stefan - often wondered about that.

I've often wondered about these settings - there are various others eg sharpness, saturation etc. Is it best to leave these on the midway setting without adjusting up or down and leave it to Elements to do any adjustments necessary.

I shoot in RAW so what I mean is it better to do any editing in elements rather than trying to do this in camera before you take the photo?
