Excellent shots. I have some Acros waiting to be tried out myself in my 645.

Womble, I think you should go for the 6x7, from what I've seen of your shooting, I think it would suit you. I'd love one myself, but they're too expensive.

I'll provide some constructive feedback if you don't mind. Some of it's down to taste of course.

SOme of the shots with a lot of white are underexposed. This can be hard to get right, of course, but you can boost in post until it's right. I don't like the heavy vignette on the B&W or the desaturation of the background in the dance shot (but as I say, this is individual taste). The edited version of the shot with the hills behind, removing the extra landscape, is better as it focuses attention on the people. I'm a fan of shots of little details (like the rings there) so I'd go with more of that. I think I'd be tempted to boost the contrast in many of the shots given their commercial nature. Not too much of course.

Overall, I'd say the results are good and you should be happy with them.

(I hope I haven't been too critical :lol

I read the article but there was nothing new in it. It serves to remind the general public that film photography is still around.

My thoughts on Lomography?

1. Doing a great service to film and those of us who, while not Lomographers, are film photographers.
2. Over-priced (both film and cameras).
3. Too hipster for my tastes.
4. Produces some interesting shots, shots that wouldn't be obtained with other forms of photography.
5. They have no idea how to store film. The last lomo shop I was in was far too warm and none of the film was refridgerated.

"Blaming the bad economy" - the bad publicity is more likely.

The number of very poor photographers out there is incredible, and the number of them working as professionals is nothing short of amazing.

Ah, consumerisation and the ever-onward upgrade path...

There are two ways out of the corner: sell it or use it.

How much does development cost in Boots these days? I pay four euros for development only, I'm fairly happy with that.

If you plan to use the RAW then don't use the D-range function, it's unnecessary. It just under-exposes and then boosts the output, the same as pushing the exposure in PP.

Mailshots, Mathers, 7DayShop. They usually have decent prices. Mailshots often have lower prices but charge for delivery, so better for larger amounts.

John is right, it's the D-range. All Pentax DSLRs work in this way.

By the way MGTS24, the quote in your sig is from Robert Capa and goes "If your pictures aren’t good enough, you’re not close enough."
