I understand that the 8-16mm has high distortion until 12mm, apart from being big and not taking any kind of practical filter system.

Please note that while I now live in Madrid, I will be in the UK for a week from the 20th of January, so I am happy to post items from there if you're not in a great hurry. This will be cheaper than posting from Madrid and I prefer it as the Spanish post office, to my knowledge, do not offer tracking & insurance on parcels to the UK. Postaqe costs below are from the UK, if you want it sent sooner (from Spain) then please add another £4.
Payment by bank transfer to my UK account is preferred, though Paypal is possible if you are willing to cover any additional fees imposed.
Pentax "M" 28mm f/3.5
In excellent++ condition. Very light wear, maybe a very small amount of internal dust. An excellent lens, very, very sharp, even wide open. Far superior to the more common f/2.8 version in sharpness, colour and contrast. £45 + £5 postage.

Pentax "K" 55mm f/1.8
In excellent+/excellent++ condition. Some internal dust. This is one of the better standard primes produced. Very sharp, great colours, good IQ even wide open, and superb when stopped down a little. This provides a bit of extra reach compared to the more common 50mm lenses, taking it closer to the classic 85mm (in 135 format) portrait lens. IQ is just as good as the more common 50mm f/1.7 Pentax lenses but the build quality is better and focus is a bit smoother. Only selling because I now have two of them. £35 + £5 postage.

Pentax "A" zoom 28-80mm f/3.5 - f/4.5
Excellent+/excellent++ condition. These are common kit zooms that were packaged with the P series of MF SLRs. IQ is not great wide open but is respectable when stopped down a little. The real down-sides are the size and weight and that the zoom and focus rings move too freely for a MF lens. Selling because I only use primes on my film cameras. £5 + £10 postage.

Maybe the competition from the 15mm and the Sigma wide zooms have killed it off?

Interest registered for K55/1.8 but not confirmed.
Whizzkiddwill, I haven't used the macro function but can test it out and let you know. It will take a few days though, as I'm away from home at the moment.
