Try the same argument with the specs. The K10D was the top of the range, etc.

Others more expert than I will chip in soon enough, but I'd think you're looking at wide to short telephoto.
Coming from a bridge camera you'll be ok with zoom lenses, but the Pentax Limited lenses are beautiful little primes, so it's a case of deciding which route you want to go down initially - zooms or primes. Zooms for flexibility, primes for IQ, although the Pentax DA* zooms are near-prime IQ quality, and WR, but expensive.
I use the Pentax 17-70 as a standard zoom. Good quality, but not up there with the DA*'s. I think the 17-70 has been superceded now by the 16-85, which unlike the 17-70 is WR.
A similar DA* zoom would be the 16-50. Great rep for IQ, but plagued in it's early days with failure of its SDM motor, although it's said that this has been addressed in later production.
Did the K3 come with any lenses?

At the end of it anything offered for sale is only worth what a buyer is prepared to pay, not necessarily what the seller asks for.

As I said earlier, in my case the driver to buy the particular dishwasher I had was (a) it was a Bosch, and (b) it had a stainless steel interior. I couldn't care less about number of programmes, etc. On that basis I 'invited' the insurance company consider what 'like-for-like' meant, and to find me a replacement Bosch with a stainless steel interior, and I didn't care about price or any other feature. If they could find one that was cheaper, but otherwise met my requirement, that would have been fine by me. They replaced it with one that met my specification, which was more expensive than their first offer.
