I'd like to see some sample photos.

Thanks NIgel.

You've certainly put a lot of effort in to this. I look forward to learning how to use my flash properly!

Thanks guys. I have LR4, so I'll try that, but also check the exif data.

I used the O-GPS1 on my camera when away in Italy, and presume (fingers crossed!) that it did what it's supposed to do - geo-tagged my photos - but I have no idea how to check, insofar as I don't know how to get the shots onto a map.

Can anyone help please?

A solution might be if an electronics-only version of the k-mount could be developed for the lenses with a simple interface made for fitting to the camera body.
Given that aperture and speed are controlled electronically on twin e-dial Pentax bodies, surely it's already possible for Tamron, Sigma and the like to produce electronics-only versions of their lenses for Pentax? Or do the lenses still require the mechanical linkage for some reason I'm missing? Preview perhaps?

In truth I find that you need to be set up ready in advance, i.e. browser open and ip address entered, etc, as I find that unless everything is done quickly the wireless connection drops out.

I have a Flucard in a K5II, and an HTC One M8 running Android 5.0.1.

Remote capture works for me. Other than your camera being a K3, what else is different?

Unfortunately, as I've discovered, the corrosion can run along the contacts to the circuit board and then, I'm afraid, it is normally game over.

That said, I use a fibreglass pen (designed for the purpose) to clean contacts. Worth a try. It'll reach the contacts without dismantling.

Can't remember where I bought mine - probably off the Bay; came with a number of 'refills'.

Also, again can't remember, there's a common household product that dissolves and neutralises battery corrosion. Anyone?
