Just thought I would let you know that John Lewis, who give a 2 year guarantee, will price match Camera Centre UK of Cardiff and Newport. This means John Lewis will provide a K3 for £565.00 😃, which is the current selling price at Camera Centre UK.

Not sure if they price match micro globe as they currently have the 55-300 HD WR lens for £219.00. I think the other retailer must have a store, again not sure if microglobe are web based.

However, thought i'd share the news about John Lewis. I have ordered mine today, paid the £699 and once I send an email to them, they will refund the diff within 5 days or 28 days if paid via PayPal.

Microglobe sell NON EU stock. Grey Imports.
No support from Ricoh UK or Ricoh EU.
Stay well clear.
John Lewis will not match.

So when they state UK sourced stock they're telling porkies? Surely Trading Standards would be round in no time if that were true?

Not a big fan of microglobe are you? I have bought items off them with no issues, however, both lenses are unlikely to present any long term reliability problems. If it was a camera body or exotic lens I was after then I'd go to Cambrian or SRS.
