I am heavily invested in DA lenses, with no immediate intention to change any, but am attracted to the possibility of the K1 as an upgrade to the K3II, so for those of you with the K1, how does the crop photo quality compare to your APS-C bodies please?

I bought the K-S1 a while ago to use with my DA Ltd's as a high-IQ, low-weight, walk around kit. Really happy with it in this role.

My local JL, (Croydon), has a red K50 at a similar price iirc.

In New Zealand the speed limit now varies more than the 50 km/h (urban) and 100km/h (open road) limits that were for many years the only national limits. Speed limits can range from 10km/h to a maximum of 100km/h, in 10km/h increments.

Speeding is enforced, and since car insurance is, afaik, still NOT a legal requirement you need to be careful. I took out fully comprehensive insurance as part of the car hire.

Very interesting collection and back story, and a belated welcome even though you've been here 2 years.

Gear looks like it's in very good condition, and seems you're someone with an eye for a good deal?

And still the confusion reigns!
Not for me, just annoyance that Ricoh haven't included Flucard based control in their Image Sync app.

I'm slightly confused with this. I have a K3 which isn't listed as being compatible with the Image Sync App but the blurb says that with a flucard the K3 can be operated through a smartphone. Am I missing something here? I want to be able to view the image seen by the camera on a smart phone but I intend to use an extension lead with the remote release to make the exposure.
Details on the Ricoh site. You control the camera via the Flucard. Good YouTube video here;

Seasonal colours (#52 October Autumn) is still available today. Trick or Treat has closed.

Select and open 'Seasonal colours', then you'll see the red box towards the top right as described by JAK

Bill. What I mean is. If I have my tablet with me when I take a photo can I look at it there and then via a FLU card on my tablet as the screen is much bigger than the camera screen.
OR would it be possible to get a USB TO USB cable between the two of them.
I don't want to blow anything up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
CHEERS Vic.
When using the Flucard it's the browser you use that's critical, not the platform. It has to be either Chrome or Safari. Personally I use Chrome.
