The York store presently have a K-S1 + standard lens for £195 and a K-50 + standard lens for £319.
Can't see those prices matched for new items anywhere on the web.
The K-S1 seems to be about £100 cheaper than other offers presently on the web and the K-50 about £50 cheaper than web prices. The store has discontinued them, hence the reductions (I guess!)
Was almost tempted to get the K-S1 myself but had to convince my impulsive side that I don't really need it!

K-S1 is surprisingly capable, just with a tiny burst buffer.
20MP with no AA filter was top of the range stuff only 3-4 years ago.

I bought the K-S1 a while ago to use with my DA Ltd's as a high-IQ, low-weight, walk around kit. Really happy with it in this role.

My local JL, (Croydon), has a red K50 at a similar price iirc.

The K-S1 is a good deal and a nice camera.

I wouldn't touch a K50 due to the breaking aperture mechanism.

Never had a problem with mine, it's a fine camera. And WR too.

I did have a problem with my K-30 and agree I wouldn't recommend these to anyone, unless there was a store 5 year warranty included.

They are very capable cameras, but come with a genuine risk.

No issues on my K-S1 yet.
