How to upload photos for monthly competition

Hi, This may seem a silly question but I can't see how to upload photos for the monthly competition. I can upload photos to the main gallery via the Gallery tab but only a Comment section without an update button on the Competition pages. Help!

There's a red 'enter competition' box near the top of the relevant competition page. After that it's much the same as uploading to the gallery.

I can't find any such button on the page for the #52 October Autumn competition.

I can't check that this morning as I uploaded something yesterday so it won't still be there for me. Perhaps someone else might check if it's there still?

Seasonal colours (#52 October Autumn) is still available today. Trick or Treat has closed.

Select and open 'Seasonal colours', then you'll see the red box towards the top right as described by JAK

Hi, Maybe it's something to do with Windows 10 latest update. I've tried logging in with 3 different browsers and each time there is no sign of a red Enter Competition box anywhere on the screen.

Works fine with W10 & MS Edge.
Are you logged in when on the competitions page?

It might be worth trying several things.

Refresh the page - control + F5.
Clear the browser cache. It might for some reason be partly seeing the page as if you aren't logged in (but don't ask me why it should!) Then another page refresh.
If still no luck, reboot the computer and try again.

I used to get something similar happen on eBay pages and refreshing helped momentarily but ultimately a browser update cured it.

If all else fails I'd suggest PM'ing john Riley about the problem to see what he suggests.

Just had another thought. Log out of the site and log back in again, worth a try. I'm guessing here but perhaps it could also be to do with cookies. It is odd though because you can add comments and everything else.

Hi, Thanks again. My latest Edge browser update was last Thursday. I've cleared all my browsers' history including clearing the caches. I've logged out, re-started the laptop and logged back in again. Still no luck! I've sent a message to Paul to see if he has any ideas.

I doubt Paul can do anything.
Try JohnX's link to the entry page in the previous post. If that didn't work go to the competition page and use the ' Report Problem / Suggestion' at the very bottom of the page. That will flag it up to whoever at the site is available.
If it gets late tonight and nothing seems to have happened to resolve it, add a note to the competition comments section that you have an image to upload but cannot do so! Upload your photo to the normal gallery if you can and make a further comment on the competition page that links to it so Paul can consider it in his judging and someone from the site may hopefully be able to move it for you. I can't promise this will resolve it but its the best I can think of to get it considered. You must be really frustrated, I know I would.

Ever thought of going back to Win7/8 ? I was a staunch GWX user to prevent being got to Win10 by MS's devious update means!
