The £1142.70 item looks like a scam, insofar as the sellers name and profession whilst genuine do not match the business address; different cities.

My Synology NAS provides RAID protected storage and offers direct access to all my files via either my home network or anywhere in the world via the internet, using any device. My connected TVs allow me to browse all my photos, videos, etc.

I can record TV using a supported dongle, store any type of file, plus a 100 and 1 other things.

If you look at their products, the Play versions have enhanced processors for replay of videos, TV content, ripped DVDs, etc.

Just FYI, the charger plate on the DSTE chargers is removable and fits any of their chargers, so I've now got a usb charger and a mains/car charger that I can tailor as required to match my camera battery type/charging power source when I'm out on a shoot.

Hope I've explained that ok?

You are unzipping the file? If the file on the card has a .zip extension you haven't. If it's .bin, you have.

On the computer, click on the .zip file and it will self extract into a new folder, then copy the .bin file to the root of the SD card, then proceed as described in the instructions on the Ricoh site.

£1800 on Amazon, but no free grip. The DA* 16-50 is £500. (Both prices rounded up a little!)

The reports that I have seen do not include cameras within the definition of 'electronic devices'. They list laptops, tablets, e-readers, game consoles and very large phones.
It's any electronic equipment other than smartphones, although some medical equipment will be allowed after special screening. The threat appears to be from IS allegedly modifying otherwise fully functional electronic equipment to incorporate explosives.

What i don't get is the fact that certain equipment, including cameras, can be operated remotely via smartphones, so what's to stop a terrorist triggering a device in the aircraft hold from the cabin? Or back to electronic timers?

Unless there's effective rf screening in the aircraft, or more thorough baggage examination pre-loading that I'm not aware of it doesn't seem to have been thought through too well, unless the presumption is that a small explosion in an aircrafts hold is unlikely to cause significant impact on the aircrafts structural integrity?

Thanks for the additional comments. Presumably the charger is simply using voltage as an indicator of charge state?

Are there any 're-conditioner' chargers for these batteries? I have one for AA's and AAA's which has revived a few in the past.

Thanks Gwyn and Fishbones.

The batteries used to work fine in the K5II, and as said, it's three out of four batteries from the same supplier, all bought at the same time and outwardly identical.
