The link and image link were broken, so I've removed them. By all means replace them with a corrected link.

Can someone tell me how people on Ebay justify such extortionate prices for the 1.4x extender. For £1142.70 I would want it gold plated. Unfortunately, Sigma don't make them for Pentax bodies, which is why I went on the search for a Pentax original.

You don't have to pay that! It has to be a try on looking for a mug who thinks the more you pay the better the one you'll get. Nobody in their right mind would pay that for one when even Ricoh could supply one themselves for well under half that. A sensible going rate would be around £300 new or £200 second hand.

It could be just a mistake, with an extra "1" creeping in. If that's the case, I'm sure somebody will point it out.

If it was £142, I might just be interested, and I might just point it out to the seller..

Used ones come up on here for sensible prices, I'm sure they'll be another one along soon!
SRS and Bristol Cameras seem to be the cheapest for new ones presently (£289)

I've got an almost unused Pentax 1.4x DA TC if your looking for one.

The £1142.70 item looks like a scam, insofar as the sellers name and profession whilst genuine do not match the business address; different cities.

The seller probably suffers from severe TCBA and doesn't really want to part with any of his TC's

If it's a scam you'd think they'd under-price it rather than scare off anyone who might be interested. Perhaps they gold plate on request!

Are you looking for a Sigma 1.4x converter?
If so i have a new one, though they are screwdrive only, but are matched for the "older" Sigma lenses....
