More to the point, isn't the first thing you'd do is back-up the images, either at the reception or immediately on arrival back at the office/home?

I do this as a matter of course, and I never do anything as important as a wedding; it's just part of my work-flow.

What sort of photography do you do, or want to do? Portraits, landscapes, birds, architecture, macro....?

Ideally you'll be looking to buy a lens that will improve what you're already doing, or enable what you want to do.

As you've already seen, lots of choices.

I'd call that a clue to why it leaked?

I've been experiencing frequent problems with 'pentaxuser.co.uk not responding' messages, leadng to the need to reload the web page.

No problems to-day though.

Didn't I read on another thread something odd about photography imports?

Camera bodies - no duty; lenses - duty?

In any event, duty, etc, is directly related to price paid, as stated on the customs declaration.

What's the situation regarding gifts? Fathers Day is coming up soon.

Problem is, it only matches the fov of the 8.5mm lens.

I looked at these at SRS at their Open Day. Even the Pentax guy looked embarrassed when I asked him about it given limited usage and price.

I would not hesitate at that price.
Presumably the £250 you paid, or have I missed something in this thread?

When not the Royal barge, it's a commercial, up-market, passenger barge.

I use an Op Tech. Very pleased with it. Actually makes the camera/lenses seem lighter. Neck or shoulder, plus can be adapted to make it into a sling strap.

Made of neoprene and webbing. Neoprene is soft and grippy, so doesn't slide off the shoulder and because it 'gives' it cushions the contact point - neck or shoulder.
