Are you 100% sure it's cumulative? Previous responses to the same question here and elsewhere said otherwise.

Now, as with the best AF adjust method, I'm totally confused!

The OP seems to infer the camera was 'on' during lens change. Could the lens change have caused a 'short' or a static discharge?

I thought you always had to switch the camera off when changing lenses to avoid such issues, or am I wrong/being over cautious?

Tried, got confused as to best method, stopped trying after adjusting a couple of lenses.

I have a collection of methodologies, none of which are the same i.e;

printed purpose designed target at 45 degrees,

newsprint taped to a flat wall at 90 degrees to the camera,

lego bricks arranged at 45 degrees,

batteries arranged at 45 degrees,

zoom lens checked at short, middle and long focal lengths,

zoom checked at longest focal length only,

zoom checked at favourite focal length,

....

Is this the one you're selling? If so, puzzled, as the shots in your 'for sale' ad showed it alive and well.

Anyway, notwithstanding how it was kept, it's still possible for a little corrosion to have built up on the battery contacts, so give them a good clean.

Did you check the state of charge of the batteries you tried it with? The battery light, etc, would suggest low battery state.

Thanks Chris.

To compensate for all the questions I've asked, and the time you're spent answering them, I'll buy this from you, assuming still £22 delivered?

Can you PM me please with preferred payment option and account details? Thanks
