The other Forum has a K5IIs for testing, and the intial comparison shots against a K5 look really good, in favour of the IIs.
Interestingly they've gone out of their way to deliberatley get moire patterns; they got it on the K5, but it is worse on the IIs.

The dealer stamp isn't an issue, as you can (or could) register on-line.
One upside to registereing kit was that you receievd a discount voucher back against future purchases.
Dob't know whether Pentax Ricoh do with on-line registration or discounts.

You will find a few threads on the subject of wedding photography on here. Worth doing a search.
Might be a few with actual photographs of weddings, but certainly plenty on the sort of equipment used.
