You might want a photo book? On-line service where you upload your shots, they print your shots in a book and return it to you.
Or, as Jeff says, an empty hard copy from a supplier where presumably you'll print off your work and add it.

Why did you buy it if you didn't want it?

From a business perspective it's down to the old economies of scale, taxes and currency conversion.
UK is a smaller market than America, America is also nearer Far East than uk.
Vat is 20%
Finally currency is constantly fluctuating so when the cameras parts are ordered at time of manufacture, the currency in the uk to the yen could fluctuate substantially in between that time.
Vat is the biggest reason for difference in price, remember American prices are usually displayed net of price due to different states having different tax rates.
Pricing between different countries is never as straight forward as first thought...
If the same % was applied to the IIs price then we should be paying around £867 vs. £807, but we're not. Chris has it priced at £949, roughly 17.5% more.
Unfortunately your rationale doesn't work; there's no reason why the % should change so much since all the other factors remain the same, i.e VAT, £ to yen, distance from the Far East etc.
I can't believe that these cameras didn't come out of the same factory at the same time, weren't bought at the same foreign currency exchange rate, weren't shipped together, etc.

There, it's $100/c£65, here it's £150.
I'm reasonably confident it's not down to you, so perhaps a Pentax person could justify this?

[quote:3496ace15f="JohnX"]The other Forum has a K5IIs for testing, and the intial comparison shots against a K5 look really good, in favour of the IIs.
Interestingly they've gone out of their way to deliberatley get moire patterns; they got it on the K5, but it is worse on the IIs.
However the 2nd comparison of the plastic "pLay it safe" sign is comparable to the differences I've seen elsewbhere and trust that one more

Seems they'll be publishing an article later to-day.

Hadn't seen the one you linked to, but still looks good to me. As to different times of day, yes you're technically correct, but actually just 2 minutes apart according to the OP, with the sun going in (or coming out). The cameras were set to two different US time zones - MST and EST.
Now the IIs is out there I'm looking forward to some decent tests, plus I need to understand more about moire especially (a) when is it most likely to occur in my photography, and (b) can I get rid of it if it does?

I dont want to work with 2 cameras I want a back up camera with me incase one has a malfunction or gets broken/dropped.
My k-x will probably be made redundant as a spares only camera.
Not only do you have a back-up but with two different focal length lenses you can switch between body/lens quicker and easier than changing lenses. I'm thinking here of those spontaneous moments before/after the ceremony when 'you see, you shoot'; easier and quicker to lift the right body/lens combo to your eye than change lenses.
Also, you might initially want to consider lens hire (from SRS) rather than lens purchase; better on the cash flow and would give you a chance to decide which lens(es)you want.
That said, I'm sure I remember one or two threads on here where the likes of John Riley describe their wedding photography kit. Worth a search.
I also agree that you must invest in the best glass. The 18-55 and 50-200 are at best, ok.
