It seems you have a left master eye, if you point at an object with both eyes open, then close one eye at a time, whichever eye sees you still pointing at the object is your master eye.

John (who keeps both eyes open)

If you shoot RAW in DNG format you will have no trouble with PS CS3 as it's native Adobe Digital Negative.

Hi Stefan, thanks for that, having not used LV I was wondering just what it was doing, my K20D seemed a lot more positive. I think we need to wait for a full review to judge just how much better the performance is.

Isn't that unsusal to need a firmware for lenses - If that's the case what is happening to the old standard of complete backward forward compatibility[/quote]That died with the introduction of the SDM only DA 17-70 didn't it?

The new lens was lightning fast. Shockingly so for a Pentax .
I didn't try the 60-250, someone else did and he said it was faster on the K-5 than on his K-7. Still not as fast as the new lens though.
He wasn't allowed to put the new lens on his camera, but could put his lens on the K-5.

Been wondering why the guy was not allowed to put the new lens on an older body - Is there anything possible that would suggest the new one is only fast fast on a K5:

Aah right, I must have missed thst, I've watched the video a couple of times and the AF seems to overshoot then track back before locking on. Considering the subject and lighting my K20D with DA*16-50 would have nailed it perfect, but not sure about LV because I never use it. I was not that impressed TBH
