No I think it's just very sensitive to the slightest movement of the setup. The SR will not be optimal though as the camera has no way of knowing the TC is attached and assumes you're just using the master lens.

Nice set Mike, I've found from experience that when using them (I have both plus the Tamron 1.4x) that they work best with the combo mounted on a decent tripod. They seem to hunt when hand held even when my hand is supported on a hide shelf, but lock focus well when used on the tripod.

I have the 8mm Fisheye and love it, was considering the 16mm f/2 but I really like the compact nature of my DA 15mm Ltd. The 10mm does look interesting though.
