These theatres are just gorgeous and you've captured the essence of that. Superb photography, as always.

Thank you! We should be there both dates, but which days I'm not sure yet.

Film camera batteries usually last at least six months and maybe a year or more. Check out the manual online and it will no doubt include more specific information.

Exhibition space is very expensive, so it may not fit in with this year's promotion budget. Sue and myself will be there on Sunday, somewhere, Sue will be the one assimilating all the freebies.......

Looking at this another way, we really don't have to justify our choice to anyone. Nobody has ever approached me when out and about to comment on a Pentax camera. They do sometimes stop and ask about monster lenses like 600mm f/4 and 400mm f/2.8.

Amazing image quality, superb low light performance, vast numbers of lenses from the past 50 years or so, outstanding ergonomics, masses of features.

I have never registered a camera, just retaining the receipt so that if warranty repair is needed I have proof of purchase. In the case of SRS, all our purchases are listed online if we register for their website.

Does registering have any benefit as we don't need it for warranty returns?

Beautiful images, the best I have seen shot in this area.

Revision 25 07 2008: Now that we have a Competition in the Gallery section, future weekly competitions are held there. Go to Gallery>Competitions and follow the instructions. All rules, such as they are, continue, but the size limitation is no longer necessary. Have fun!
