A fantastic trip and an exciting photo experience await! Have a great time and I especially hope that you see Skye in a spell of good weather. It's a magical place.

I like it with the right sort of subject. This one works very well IMHO. The effect can be varied by changing the limited range of apertures. I think it stops at f/5.6?

Great selection of images!

I use Photoshop CC for almost everything, but also Photomatix for when I feel like producing an HDR image. Photoshop gets the job done, so no need for me to be looking for an alternative. No doubt there are perfectly good alternatives, although I usually found there would be some critical tool missing and it was back to Photoshop.

Will do Gwyn and yes, he's still getting the puppies for their initial training. He finds it amusing to ask his clients if he can bring his guide dog to photoshoots......

SRS will put you in touch - they handled a recent repair for me and it went to the new repair house.

Glad to here you're making progress Bill. I'm not sure that you're the only one who cares about continuing releases, as more choices make Pentax a more attractive option to new users in particular, but maybe we are a patient bunch whose cameras are actually working very well as they are? More lens choice is always good as well, but most bases are now covered and more desirables are on the way.
My next wish will be the 70-200mm f/4 zoom I think.
