Hi all... was working up in New Brighton (nr Liverpool) at the mouth of the Mersey on the Wirral over Christmas... managed to get out and about with the camera a few times... all K1 II, DFA 15-30, DFA 24-70...

What you need are lenses, more lenses, bigger lenses, better lenses, faster lenses, and when you have these, your pictures will be perfect!

Plenty going on across these images Bill. Image 3 is the stand out for me. Very good exposure control throughout.

What a set, I dont know the area at all, but these are fantastic, all are spot on, but for me, 9, 11 and 3 top the Bill (pardon the pun)
I know what i like, If not always why.

Great points of view here, Bill. I particularly like the crane theme running through images 2, 3, 4, 8, 10 and 12 - some head on, some barely discernible or even stripped down to their red lights, yet all strongly present, industrious sentinels of their world.

Thanks all... yes, my first visit to this part of the Wirral too... really enjoyed it... a lot of history here... and a nice mixture of pleasure (beach, seaside, amusements etc) vs industry...

Fabulous set as always, a bit more 'conventional' than your recent posts, but none the less impressive for it. 5, 6 and 7 blow me away, they are fantastic.
