A K7 for £35 sounds like quite a bargain. It's a great camera, a sort of half way step between the K20D and the K5, having the same body design as the K5.

All great cameras. I quite miss my K20D.

Pixel Shift is intended to give more information at each pixel and therefore better image quality, by and large on stationary subjects using a tripod. It isn't going to make it faster and isn't going to reduce camera shake.

I would suggest switching on SR (Shake Reduction) and switching off Pixel Shift. Your images should be nice and crisp!

The Spotmatic F has the potential of being more reliable, but these are very old cameras and may need an overhaul.

The lenses are both fine lenses, so I would go for whichever is in the best condition.

The last time I sent a camera with lithium batteries one was allowed in the equipment (as long as it could not accidentally switch on) plus two spares that would need to be carefully packed so the terminals could not be shorted.

The simple way is to ask at the post office as the advisory document I've just looked at runs to 27 pages.....

Hopeful you will continue to wow us with your Pentax archive, and who knows? Perhaps one day you will feel the urge to invest in Pentax again.

It might be that you are trying to save as a JPG file something that already has an extension of jpeg in its file name. So, have a look at its file name by right clicking, select rename, and see if you have a jpeg too many at the end. Just delete the extra extension out and all should be well.
