I wouldn't expect a huge amount of money, watching Sgorio on S4C from time to time you can see the attendances are pretty low at the ground and even the great TNS doesn't attract huge crowds - having Shrewsbury, the Mighty Wrexham and the premiership teams on the doorstep.

As TNS are rather dominant and the 'major' clubs non-league are in North Wales, and more interest in Cardiff, Swansea and Newport and the rugby regions in the south I don't know what the demand is for a SW club is. I wouldn't know who to point you towards for advice.

Good luck with your endeavours! You know where my flag is tied, difficult to accept 20 years ago we were the top welsh club and 25 years ago last played in Europe. Pinning my hopes on Ruthin Town or Denbigh Town winning the Welsh Cup.

I have it in the Nikkor fit, already having the 15-30 in K-mount but only 16-35 in F-mount so I thought the Nikon version would get more use...

Verdict is out, I guess that is down to operator rather than aparatus.

Got myself a copy of the August issue (the one with "THE FINAL EDITION / 1950-2020" just under the title) this morning for my collection of final issues -though they are mainly magazines I seem to have killed by buying them regularly. Not a bad read, though a bit too much Landscape related stuff in it - not my scene.

Quite underwhelming last edition to be honest. Mind you Photo Monthly fizzled out and got absorbed by Digital Camera.

About PU, I remember the magazines very well. I don't think Nikon do an in-house magazine, and they (nor Canon) have a dedicated website like PU.com - Grays of Westminster (the posh Nikon dealer in Pimlico) have their own dedicated magazine called Nikon Owner which is superb (4/5 issues per year but membership is £60).

As for Pentax reviews generally in PP and DC - when it comes to lens reviews. I get dismayed when the 'Best for Pentax' is an Irix or a discontinued Sigma because they haven't included a Pentax lens.

Love the classic cars, reminds me of our 'annual' trips to the Revival.

Bit puzzled, if you left Pentax because you wanted full frame why did you move to a micro four thirds system?

Anyway, really depends on what you normally shoot ... wildlife and macro I would stick with Olympus for the reach, AF speed (not macro) and DOF (definately macro) they require but anything else then the K-1 and 24-70mm is an excellent starting point.
same here, I was expecting another Nikon defector, but I was astonished by Olympus.

You way you were looking at the Olympus - someone here correct me if I am wrong - the K70 was introduced later than the K-1 wasn't it?

Personally, I would stick with one system. K-1 does have a 16MP crop mode for that additional 'reach', IIRC Olympus cameras do not have a high MP count anyhow. Plenty of reasonably high quality low cost telephoto options for wildlife. So K-1 and 24-70 is the way to go.
