The patterns remind me of army camouflage - nice spot!

I think that's quite beautiful!

I can clearly see the dancers and I love the way they intertwine, good stuff!

Yay!! For weather-sealed cameras!

I spent Friday at Santa Pod where we saw around half-a-dozen cars run before the rain stopped play. Spent virtually all day in the paddock and came back with 250+ keepers. This was my favourite as the lighting and the raindrops sum the day up for me:

Saturday saw me swapping 1000+ horsepower for 1 horsepower but at least these ones went out on a wet track! Kimble Races saw around 30 keepers but I was concentrating more on watching the horses in the paddock then running to the bookies to try and get the best odds on my chosen steeds. This one made me think of an Old Master painting with the thick, damp air:

Sunday was more horses at the Thame Country Show (along with lots of birds of prey, gun dogs, ferret racing and that sort of general thing) and another 200+ keepers. I don't crop many shots to a letterbox format but I quite liked this one (sorry it's a bit long but at 800 pixels it's difficult to make out all the detail):

Monday consisted of shopping in Milton Keynes so nothing was taken - typically it was the one day the sun decided to shine...

All shots taken with the K10D (top 18-55, middle 70-300, bottom 77) and presented to you "as shot" with the exception of the crop on number 3.

Any and all C&C appreciated!

It's not your imagination - coatings have changed over the years and can have very different effects on certain parts of the colour spectrum.

One things for sure though; the old Taks are very capable lenses!

I've had one for years - use it quite a bit and it's always in the bag. One of the few gadgets that is handy *and* cheap.

I keep boxes from everything and stick them in the loft - if I re-sell them they're there, and if I don't they're extra insulation anyway...

Dust normally gets on the sensor when you change lenses - it doesn't matter if the lenses in question are auto or manual, old or new. It's all down to how careful you are and whether the lens in question is covered in muck...
