Anyway, the Rollei 35 shows us that there's no optical reason why you can't have a full frame sensor (35mm film in that case) and a high quality collapsing lens in a package no bigger than a pack of cards. I remember how bulky my first Kodak digicam was and compare it to today's models - things move quick in the worlds of battery, memory and sensor technology and we're not far off now.
PS. Dear Pentax, if the camera's to be live-view only can we have the 3" OLED display from the Samsung WB1000 please?

If it was the size of a Rollei 35 I may even buy two...

You don't need to fire the flash. It's a permanently open circuit waiting to be closed.

I'd like a Pentax one with the K20D/K7 sensor and a 28.6mm f/1.9 (43mm equiv) lens. Having said that (and having been thinking about this a lot lately), I want the lens to retract fully into the body when powered off to retain a pocketable shape - so I'd settle for a 28.6mm f/2.8 in the name of ergonomics if space is tight

Anyone else been playing with the K-x simulator? Looks like you can colour-code your 18-55 to match your body too.
