Sorry george, I don't think the value of Sterling has anything to do with it, Bristol Cameras are still quoting sensible prices, as are Cameraworld.

With their buying power Jessops should be more realistic on price, or are they getting better backhanders to push other brands?

As for H/D, you can still pre order a Km!!!

and Park Cameras have the Km at £339!

Just visited Jessops online shop and was horrified at the prices they're asking for Pentax DSLRs.

It's no wonder that they don't sell many when their prices are higher than last years release price.

Sorry I prefer the Mono!

It appears less contemporary and more a study of frustration.

Having read the article a few weeks ago in AP about Saul Leiter, I can see the likeness in your shot Lilly.

One of the original shots used in the article, taken through a window in, I think, Paris has the same muted colours you've achieved.

Nice conversion, I was questoining the over use of PS last week. Now I've seen how it can be used I will go away and try myself.

Good shot, have you tried it in black and white?

Cafe shots seem to lend themselves to the monochrome treatment.

They also have grip for K10D/K20D cheap as well
What brand grip is this, it says it takes AAs :
If it takes AAs it's for the K200.

The image though is the grip for the K10/20!!

confusing!!!

Hi folks.

I am looking to buy a new tripod. Ideally, I need something sturdy enough to take my 5x4 view camera (see here for that) but also, if possible, flexible enough for very low level macro photos. I used to have a unilock tripod (copy of the Benbo) but one of my team drove his landrover over it...

Any recommendations?

Thanks, Kris.
