I'm waiting for the signs to appear at the US customs stating that aliens are not permitted without visas,

that or a sign saying 'welcome to america, may contain nuts'!

As for lenses, I use them to weigh down my bags when I hang them under the tripod.

I had a manual from him in November last year, no problems.

His feed back is good but when things go wrong...

Or go for a wired remote - a generic one is just as good as the Pentax one, and one of the Canon ones also works with Pentax.
I use a wired remote that's listed for the canon(ugh!)450.

Look at this for a cheap wired remote or this for a wireless one.

Others are available on Ebay, just search for 'Pentax remote'

Maybe the comparison shots could be a project for next winter when it's cold and dark, you could use all the lenses first, then all your flashes and then.......

I play with a good old fashioned SMC-M f1.7 50mm around the house.

It's amazing how clear the pictures are in poor light, that's on my K200d.

Maybe I'm cheap but I can't bring myself to part with the cost of a modern Ltd lens.

Our household insurance covers cameras out of the house, check out your contents cover for theft outside, it could save you a small fortune!
