They look so good! Can I ask you how did you do them? It seems you used some strong spot light and dark background?
Kind regards,

Sharp and colourful. I like 1 very much and 3 gives the impression it could be a mirror image.

They are all pretty good but having to be different I think number 4 is the best.

In reply to Misiek_Knm

It is mostly DOF, they are growing in pots in the yard, 2 of them(2 & 3) I darkened the background in PS as a layer and then masked the bloom and knocked back to the original shot, number one is straight from the camera with a little cropping and no other changes, number 3 has had some additional background added at the top, I now think too much, Don't tink I did anything to number 4 but can't remember.

Edit: forgot to say it is just daylight no flash or lighting.

Don't know why I was so worried you have all been very nice to me, thank you for your kind and encouraging comments.

Jackie, these are all cracking shots, . The moment I look at them they immediately capture my full attention and I keep going up and down viewing it times and times again. Love the way the lighting reflects from some of the petals and the shiny bits from the inner part of the petals and outer ones, on the 2 and 3. Difficult even to select the most favourite one , I like them all.

Why aren't they in your gallery? , You should put them up , they look great to me.

Thank you all for your very kind comments, I would put them in my gallery but although I must have done it once I can't work out how to do it now. Did try yesterday but think I finished up by inadvertently entering a competition. Sorry to who ever has to sort the entry it was unintentional.
