So I tried the K100d way, that doesn't work either!
I can get into debug on my K110d the second way, but don't need to, any more ideas out there on how to enter debug on the K200d?

They're so cheap nowadays it's not worth having them repaired, unless you can do it yourself.
Check here for reasonable refurbs, I got my Optio E50 from them without any hassle.

Nowadays I seldom use a hood, lens flare can be attractive in some shots and removed in PS.
