It's always interesting to see (on all different forums) which items appear often in the classifieds.

In some respects it gives an idea of what equipment people can't get along with (not always - there are often other reasons).

I was thinking about lenses that you don't see in the classifieds but that you do see quite a bit in peoples' signatures.

These might well be the lenses most worth knowing about.

So, what lenses do people have that won't be sold?

I'm a bit too new to answer the question myself, but looking through the forums one lens that seems to fit the description is the Tamron 90mm f2.8

Any others? Anyone disagree?

Going from my limited experience and research I'd say the 2 Helios lenses are probably worth bringing back to use or sell.

Purchased mine from SRS just before you (12 May) and would have sent the form off about 4 or 5 days later. I got my cashback on 8 June by BACS.

Thanks WVB and Sterretje. I'm fairly happy with a soldering iron, but not so happy with Manual flash at the moment - I think starting out an auto flash might ease me in to things a bit. Whether or not I can rationalise the resultant doubling in necessary budget (from £50 for the Yongnuo to £120 for the Sigma) - well, that's another matter...

I'm wondering about trying out a flashgun.

I've been doing abit of reading and the Yongnuo 560 seems well regarded and very good bang-for-buck. It's also very reasonable. my budget's limited.

My issue is that it is manual. I suspect I'd want to try an auto first before I try and start inputting settings manually.

I can't find a decent budget auto flash with tilt and swivel that fits Pentax cameras.

I'd love to have some input from more experienced forumites on what I should go for.

AH, sory. I must hgave got the wrong end of the stick. When you said "I never delete from my card - when it's full, I format and use a new one and the old one is safely stored away" I thought you meant you used the cards as a form of storage and didn't use them again, which would be a bizarre misuse of the memory format!
