the DA35 (f2.4 but apparently great bokeh)...

Second ever pic I took with the lens after this fella tried to mug me on the way home from picking up the lens from JohnX! Apologies for the tiny DOF but it's my 2nd lens after the kit and I was desperate to try out f2.4.

That said, isn't this a bit off-topic. If I'm buying a product I don't base my decision solely on the views of owners of that product - I look for independent reviews, or the views of owners of the product who also own a competitor's version.
Coming on PU and crying about having to pay for a review that wouldn't be the most useful is surely like trying to buy flights from the florist and complaining that their £20 bouquet doesn't have an in-flight meal.

I love the K-5 but I suspect I'd have loved the K-30 and for the price I think the deal's unbeatable.

Gonna stick with the K-5.

Algernon, that's not the sort of post I was hoping for!
Food for thought.

Are there any cases in a similar format for less than the cost of a week's groceries?
Ive got some very cheap neoprene pouches from China which are excellent but some lenses are a tight squeeze.
The pentax format is preferable but at £60 a pop, they seem ripe and deserving of a chinese rip-off.
