I don't get the comment on K5 being in a different price bracket to the D7000 - maybe they had to find some way of knocking it. Or are they basing it on a fantasy bit silly RRP?

I found the K7 to be ergonomically preferable than the K20, but not much else to be honest unless maybe if you're interested in video.

But the K5 seems to open up a whole new world of photography with the high ISO performance, which hasn't yet ceased to amaze me. I would beg borrow or steal to get one.

I got a couple of not particularly good star trails but without meteors. Unfortunately the battery depleted during my longer exposure effort. Shame as conditions were perfect. I'd have got an AC adaptor, but my god the price!

Well my item was sent from Swindon to London and arrived long after the snow melted, so I'm sure it will be OK. It's not just the snow it's the Christmas rush too and the general incompetence of RM.

I have only just been notified of the delivery to a UK address of some parcels that were posted within the UK two weeks ago. So there are prolonged delays. These are likely to get worse as snow is forecast to arrive from Thursday so the country will grind to a halt again.
