Beautifully clear in SW Devon, a tad chilly though- just seen the first meteor, in the South sky

I got a couple of not particularly good star trails but without meteors. Unfortunately the battery depleted during my longer exposure effort. Shame as conditions were perfect. I'd have got an AC adaptor, but my god the price!

the connectors for K10s and K20s are available at digi-key... must set my own adapter up, I'll be at the (dark) summer house again soon enough.

At that price I'd be more inclined to buy an old film body and a lockable cable release for your ultra-long exposure needs!

I have a couple of moon shots on my current roll of HP5, not sure how they'll come out as they were taken with the SV and my longest screw mount lens is 135mm.
I regularly use B mode, a cable release and my watch to time exposures longer than a second (the longest the mechanical bodies will offer). Generally I meter at the widest aperture and then calculate the correct exposure at the one I want to use accordingly.
