Don't forget the MZ6.

Similar to the MZ7 but also does P-TTL as well as TTL flash and a few other features. I think they were a bit later so they should be a bit newer.

No.3, 4 & 6 are my favorites.

3 & 4 nicely caught and 6 is really nicely caught, then I moved the slider to catch the rest. Street life in all it's glory!!

I've had one of these for a few months now.

Thing is, this will give you a real tripod when you would otherwise have to do without. It does not kill me lugging it up the mountains, usually photography is not my main purpose to the trip so the weight and packed size is really useful, hanging a tripod outside my rucsac is also not an option.
It is very compact, light and will do the job. It also packs for travel very well, being very short and compact.it will fit in a regulation air cabin bag.

There are more stable tripods. There are probably lighter CF tripods but this is cheap and will do the job. You just have to accept it has limitations, just as there always are limitations even when paying lots more but not having a tripod is much more of a limitation when you need one!

Tips:
As with most lightweight tripods, you get much more stability if you don't use the centre colomn too much, add weight to the hook and if you can do without the thinnest leg section don't extend it.
The ball head provided is light and does the job but it can be replaced as a standard 3/8" fitting is used.

All in all I'm happy with mine. It doesn't replace my other tripods but it has its advantages for travel and long days in the mountains.

How about a Benbo or Uni-loc tripod? You get a long boom arm built in.

Some don't like them as it needs a little practice to set up but you can't beat it for getting a camera into awkward places. The legs can be arranged to support the camera really well in a lot more directions than most tripods. Legs are sealed so can be used in water/mud and the benbo 1 & 2 have 1/4' & 3/8' fittings.

My Trekker tripod also has the Uni-loc Centre Column Swing Bracket added. This allows even more movement of the center column when used sideways.

Probably cost less for the whole tripod second hand than the Velbon Boom Arm.

It has always been for the 3rd party flash manufacturer to make their flash units fit the camera, not the other way around.
Some do but lots don't, they don't want the cost of making their products compatible with camera dedicated features. One of the reasons why they are cheaper.

This has been the same since the camera manufacturers started adding dedicated features to their flash systems.

Another vote here for the DA70. It is a stunning lens, not just for portraits either but not the cheapest.

If you are really short of cash, any of the manual focus 50mm f1.7 are good, the A versions are bit easier to use but the M's come cheaper.
The F2 versions come at really low prices and must be one of the 'best for less' of all the Pentax lenses secondhand.

Well one things for sure, Film cameras don't have a 'native' ISO. The sensitivity of the film camera is purely down to the film that is loaded. Put an ISO32000 film in and that is the light sensitivity you have got, until you change the film.

As for the digital camera, I guess it all depends on the camera model you have. I'm sure someone who knows more about it will be along in a moment.

Must admit that I'm no ultrawide expert.

I think these are nice shots, no1 & 4 are my favorites. As has been said already, I think you could do with a little lift of the shadows in most of these.

The mill has just a touch of converging verticals, with all those vertical it can be hard to get them right with the 10-20 if you don't keep it absolutely level! Dont forget you can always crop to get rid of bits you don't want, if you have to go wider.

Nice picks though
