I passed it to one of our club members and she had her problem resolved in no time.

Isn't it much easier to just follow the instructions? I know some love to make things work where they "shouldn't" work, but for the majority of users that isn't really relevant.
It's a useful, but minor, feature that's available on all the Pentax DSLRs I've used, and it's a consequence of how things work, rather than the raison d'etre.
I found it to be an over rated feature.I first used it on my SFXn then IST*d never used it since.

Feedback would be better if it were shown as a number or percentage by the username rather than having to trawl through thousands of posts looking for deals done by the seller. They do this on every other forum I use.

Money on the side
Those who make a bit of money on the side through delivering catalogues, running parties or selling on eBay may not even be aware of the need to inform the taxman. The number of people trying to make a bit of money on the side through these schemes has been growing dramatically as many more families feel the pinch, which means many thousands of people may have walked into a tax nightmare without realising.
Anyone making money via these methods needs to call their local office, inform them that they are direct-selling, and start filling out a tax return.
If they only sell a few items on eBay, and aren't traders, they are not likely to be liable to tax on what they make and will not be targeted. However, it's a fine line between someone who sells a few things and someone who trades, and it's essential you know which side of the line you sit on.
