Any reason why OP can't delete their own topics?

I'm thinking particularly of those in the 'Classified Adverts' section.

Would save a lot of wasted enquiries if the OP could simply delete it when the kit has been sold.

My guess is the way the forum software works, perhaps the power to delete topics would cover the whole forum and not just one section, and that would be a very bad idea.

The whole point is that a record of the transaction exists, so feedback can be built up. It's good practice to simply say when something has been sold. It's also good practice not to clutter up the threads with off topic stuiff, so we can see what's going on.

Leads to Deals, on the other hand, is something I trawl through periodically, to make sure the links are still active and that the deals still exist.

Feedback would be better if it were shown as a number or percentage by the username rather than having to trawl through thousands of posts looking for deals done by the seller. They do this on every other forum I use.

Do wish sellers would post on their thread to say the item is sold though.

Would there be any way to append a heading with "sold" or change text colour to indicate a completed deal?
I guess admin could do something like this, but it would be a heavy burden. It would be great if the OP could do this.
