The photographer - not the lens. Shame on me!
The lens is OK ( K 1.8/55mm)
When I am careful the results are excellent.

George

I would sell them all off, very cheaply to forum members.

Snappychappy, my wife will send you a present.

I bought the 50-135 because lately the heavy Sigma and DA*300 are staying
home.Probably I'll try to sell the Sigma .

George

I think George you are actually reading the situation incorrectly.

If you look at your image from left to right - it is clear that you should not actually be selling a lens - you should in fact be buying one as there is clearly too big a jump in size from second left to third left lens.

I think a nice shiny new 100 macro would just about do the trick

Guess what or who my wife will send you.

Lately I've been hit by LBA. Now I'll have to pay.
Still remember the happy times with the ME Super and 50mm.
The best pictures I have made!
The whole exercise of posting a picture will end up with reducing my lens colection to two zooms and one prime.
And trying to take a decent pictures.

Gentlemen, you helped me realise my vanity.
Thank you!

Regards,
George

Joking aside George - I am in completely the same boat. I currently own 9 lenses (well OK - I own a lot more than that - but not counting the old M and A MF K mount lenses or the M42 mounts)

In reality - I use 4 of them regularly the 10-17 fish eye is used perhaps once a year - the 55-300 has not been used for at least 6 months, and I have not once used the 120-400 since buyng the 150-500 earlier this year.

Just can't seem to bring myself to part with them

Good luck!

As most of you I have been thru a lot of lenses trying to optimise.
I like the subtle colour rendition of the FA lenses, but my wife prefers the DA. I prefer a "prime" but as a family man I need a zooms.
So, I am trying to find the balance but is so hard!
And I have only one photo in the gallery because I am not proud with the rubish I am producing lately.

And DA 40 is 1/4 of the lens compared to FA50mm 1.4(although I needed three copies to find a good one)

Regards,
George
