Thanks for the interest so far. If any 'provenance' is needed, here's one of the lens with today's Metro. The large version contains Exif for those who like that sort of thing.

I've previously sold my Samyang 8mm and Zentitar 16mm fisheye lenses on here which all went smoothly and even met a few of the forum regulars at the Saltaire Steampunk event last year. Not saying they can (or will!) vouch for me, but they should be able to confirm I'm not a unicorn or other mystical scammer

First dibs to Pentax User forum members!

A very well regarded and much sought after lens, it took me over two years to find a good example and wasn't cheap, alas it no longer has a place in the niche my K5 now occupies as a two-system shooter.

Condition is excellent, optics and mechanics as they should be. Cosmetically very good too, tripod ring is free from damage but the notorious Sigma coating is beginning to come away in one place as shown.

Boxed with paperwork, carry case, strap and of course lens hood. Pics below with links to larger versions for your inspection. I'll try to get some examples from this exact lens online soon to accompany the ad.

It's a regrettable sale but one that is necessary to purchase the Nikon 16-35 f4 to expand my other system. That lens retails around £850 and is therefore the guide price for this item.

Sensible offers will be considered and all enquiries dealt with in order of receipt.

More lovely Pentax (and Pentax fit) items to be listed over the coming weeks, though I've started with the cream of the collection.

Best football photos I've seen on here, crisp and well-timed.

One of those holiday reject photos that you come across on a hard drive clearing expedition and think 'Hmm, that's better than I remember'.

Details: K5 with Sigma 18-50 2.8 and ND grad, 30 secs at F10. Random Chinese lantern launched by some kids on the beach. Location: Promenade des Anglais, Nice, France.

Brilliant. Strong geometry, bold splashes of colour and of course a lovely dollop of humour.

Yep, I like it - elevates this above a mere snapshot.

Promising tech idea but likely to be poorly implemented and somewhat clunky, at least in first-gen form. Think about how often you use in-camera HDR, for example...

It'll probably be quicker to use actual grad filters for those who still rate them (or sit staring at the Lightroom interface for those who don't!).

Certainly an impressive beast, especially so at close quarters in the CPOP paddock. IWMN is a great backdrop here and Mike's tweaks are well judged.

My own shot of Mavis from weekend is non-Pentax but can be seen here.

I took these a few weeks ago during that brief unseasonably hot spell. No sign of activity, no piles of metal or skips full of stuff. I'd say it's not being cut up... yet.

In these modern days of health and safety gone mad I can't see anyone going to the expense of refurbishment and adaptation - a mighty cost, probably exceeded only by its scrap value?

An odd sight sitting forlornly on the North Wales coast, UK viewers can watch this to see how it ended up here.

K5 and Sigma 10-20 for both.
