I'll go back and plant one. If someone could get their future grandchildren to go and take the photo I'd be grateful...
K.
For cleanliness sake I might be tempted to go back and re-shoot it from a position further to the right, so the second tree along (the small one!) is hidden behind the third tree (the big one). Obviously that might not be possible, but if it is, I think it might make the picture even more simple and eyecatching. Perhaps you could shoot from a slightly lower angle too, to rid the horizon of the distant treetops? Of course, all that might make it look too sterile.
Of the edits, I like your last one best, doesn't look as 'heavy' as Prieni's.

The *ist D could be upgraded to SDHC with a firmware update, don't know about the other models
That's where I got that from then. I remember doing firmware upgrade on my istD
To me it really just makes sense to update firmware whenever it's released, as there are almost certainly a whole load of little tweaks included that they don't tell us about. This may be one of them, perhaps there's an occasional problem with the K-7 and these particular cards on the original firmware.
I still wouldn't want to rely on this card until your absolutely sure that the problem's solved though.

I'd just assumed you'd forgotten to use the english word, but we'll let you off if you thought it was the same.

If you earn a living from photography, you are a 'Professional Photographer'. (Noun)
That doesn't mean you are producing images of a 'professional' standard. (Adjective)

Proof reading leaves a lot to be desired too...
And this is a little disturbing, on one of the Customer Services pages:
"If you live outside the United States, custom and tariff fees may apply according to your country's import laws. These fees are not collected by this company, and this company does not have control of these fees."
They've obviously just copied across all this info from the US version.
Oh, and do these cameras come with a 2 year warranty?

I'll stop reading here once there are entries in the competition, so PM me after then if you have questions or there's anything that needs clarifying.
Have fun!
