I have just flashed my 58 AF-1, was a very easy affair.
Well I should hope so!

My mum didn't have much joy with a Kodak digital compact, one (lithium ion) battery died, the replacement did the same 6 months later. She's given up and gone back to her Samsung film compact.

I thought i would just check it out, but i learnt not to mess with things i don't thoroughly understand.

I did find it nerve-wracking, but it was okay in the end. But if you don't need to do it, it's not something I'd risk.

I seem to remember 'Debug Mode' adds extra options to the various menus. The 'Debug Menu' brings all those options into one menu. What you get depends on the command line you enter in your text file (the MODSET one). Did you use [DEBUG_MODE EN] or [OPEN_DEBUG_MENU]?

I haven't done this for ages (I did my K10D about 2 years ago), so I may be wrong.

Personal preference would be for more colour in the sky, so shooting earlier in the evening (not so long after sunset). Exposure for the buildings looks good though, and the Tower Bridge shot is nice.

Ahh, that's interesting. Just had a look on the Pentax website to see who you were, and noticed Cameraworld's no longer listed...

Worth pointing out that I would have to factor in the cost of a bag for the first two options, with the prices above, what does everyone think?
I've never put my tripod in a bag. Never seen the point to be honest.

If a person makes a conscious decision to use a deflationary smiley that means they have realised that the comments they are making are contentious. They would therefore do better not to make the comments in a contentious manner - or at all - in the first place.
A forum (for me) would be a much duller place without a little banter, and a smiley can ensure (hopefully) that what's said is taken the way it was intended.

Chris at SRS Microsystems said they will be doing them soon, try giving him a ring.
