I don't have it so do you notice any noticeable differences?
By reading it they might have solved the wireless problem there was if the flash was the master flash, but I might read that wrong.

With firmware 1.0 it worked like this:
If the Metz was set as wireless master it used the secondary reflector for communication with the wireless slave flashes.
With firmware 1.1 it uses the main reflector for communication purposes.

I will test this to see if it is really the case

OK - taking the courage to do this since I have a friend staying with me today.

Does anyone know if there is a Mac version for this ?

Thanks for the 'heads up' Stefan.

Hyram, help (Instruction of installation) is at the bottom of the page

Angela, yes mac is a problem.
They said they are busy with a MAC version but no luck now

You need to have windows, hopefully you have a friend with that are else you might be able to find some help in a shop that supports Metz.

Fortunately I have an elderly PC laptop for my daughter to use for work when she visits.

I was appalled to see no Mac Version and frankly for a non PC person this was not easy to do .

However it's done - so I hope I won't have to do another one for a looooooooooooong time

You never know how easy the process of flashing a device is. I have seen enough devices which had to be in a special flashing mode. This flashing mode usually consisted of needing three hands to push a load of buttons while turning the device on and pressing the mousebutton at the same time
